SEEDs: a program for FIG RAs

Freshmen Interest Groups

Program Overview

SEEDs stands for Supplementing Education/Enhancing Dynamics - it's a program in place to help FIG RAs make the most of students' experience in the FIG program.  FIG RAs will be asked to provide information on any extra-curricular, academic-based activities you and your FIG may do (where you went, what you did, how many students came).

The SEEDs program encourages FIG RAs to create a variety of engaging activities.  These activities include covering academic success skills, connecting with instructors, and building bonds with other FIG members.

FIG RAs will be required to complete an activities checklist and submit it to LeaRN (Coe 219). The checklist is due December 5th by 5:00.  The checklists will help LeaRN determine the value of the SEEDs program, assess FIG student feedback, as well as give LeaRN invaluable insight into student academic concerns.
