    The Dietary Supplement Label Database (DSLD) is a joint project of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Dietary Supplements (ODS) and National Library of Medicine (NLM). The DSLD contains the full label contents from a sample of dietary supplement products marketed in the U.S.

    Food Studies Online provides researchers rich archival content, visual ephemera, monographs, and videos that explore how food shapes the world around us. Food studies is a relatively new field of study, but its importance is felt in many major disciplines. It has social, historical, economic, cultural, religious, and political implications that reach far beyond what is consumed at the dinner table.

    National Agricultural Library's search engine covering research published by U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) scientists. Contains full-text articles relevant to the agricultural sciences, along with citations to peer-reviewed journal articles with links to publisher sites and elsewhere for full-text access. Covers all of the core topics of the agricultural sciences including nutrition, food safety, food quality, animal and crop production and protection, natural resources, sustainable agricultural systems, rural development, agricultural economic and policy issues, agricultural imports and exports, agricultural statistics, extramural research, and Extension education.

  • PubMed Infomation details about the resource   

    Medical indexing/full-text database that provides public access to MEDLINE (see separately) and full-text on PubMed Central and other publisher websites. On the NCBI platform.

  • PubMed Dietary Supplement Subset Infomation details about the resource   

    The National Institutes of Health's Office of Dietary Supplements and the National Library of Medicine (NLM) partnered to create this Dietary Supplement Subset of NLM’s PubMed. PubMed provides access to citations from the MEDLINE database and additional life science journals. It also includes links to many full-text articles at journal Web ites and other related Web resources. The subset is designed to limit search results to citations from a broad spectrum of dietary supplement literature including vitamin, mineral, phytochemical, ergogenic, botanical, and herbal supplements in human nutrition and animal models. The subset will retrieve dietary supplement-related citations on topics including, but not limited to: chemical composition; biochemical role and function — both in vitro and in vivo; clinical trials; health and adverse effects; fortification; traditional Chinese medicine and other folk/ethnic supplement practices; cultivation of botanical products used as dietary supplements; and surveys of dietary supplement use.

  • Web of Science (core collection)  Infomation details about the resource 

    Multidisciplinary indexing database that combines journal citation index databases in arts & humanities, social sciences and sciences, as well as conference proceedings and book citation indexes. The Current Chemical Reactions and Index Chemicus databases are also included in the Core Collection. All component databases can be searched separately as well.
