    ERIC (Education Resources Information Center) is an authoritative database of indexed and full-text education literature and resources. ERIC contains more than 1.6 million records and links to hundreds of thousands of full-text documents. It includes records for a variety of source types, including journal articles, books, conference papers, curriculum guides, policy papers and more. In addition, it provides an education-specific thesaurus that includes controlled vocabulary to help users find what they need.

    Consumer health indexing/full-text database that provides information on diseases, conditions and wellness in text, videos and links to respected websites. On the National Library of Medicine platform.

  • Nursing and Allied Health Collection (Gale OneFile: Nursing and Allied Health)  Infomation details about the resource 

    Provides access to authoritative content including full-text titles cited in CINAHL supporting specialized care, treatment, and patient management. This essential resource is versatile and features highlighting and note-taking tools as well as an intuitive interface, providing multiple pathways to key information. Updated daily, this resource will help nursing professionals already working in the field, as well as students pursuing a nursing-focused curriculum.

  • Nursing Education in Video  Infomation details about the resource 

    Collection of videos focused on the education and training of nurses, nursing assistants, and other healthcare workers. All of the videos in the collection have been created with the guidance of the Medcom-Trainex advisory board, and are regularly reviewed for accuracy, currency, and compliance with US Federal regulations from agencies such as OSHA and CMS. On the Alexander Street platform.

    PsychiatryOnline is a web-based portal that features psychiatric references from American Psychiatric Publishing, including journals, handbooks, textbooks, and the most recent edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

  • Public Health Database  Infomation details about the resource 

    With journals, news, trade publications, reports, dissertations and more, ProQuest Public Health covers a wide variety of disciplines ranging from social sciences and biological sciences to business.     Database of FDA-enforceable quality standards for drugs, dietary supplements, excipients, procedures for tests, assays, analytical methods, and more, published by the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention.Requires creation of free personal login account using a University of Wyoming email account.

  • Web of Science (core collection)  Infomation details about the resource 

    Multidisciplinary indexing database that combines journal citation index databases in arts & humanities, social sciences and sciences, as well as conference proceedings and book citation indexes. The Current Chemical Reactions and Index Chemicus databases are also included in the Core Collection. All component databases can be searched separately as well.
