    Caribbean Studies in Video presents more than 1,000 hours of edited and unedited footage from the Banyan Production company, the first Caribbean enterprise to produce original TV content in the 1970s. Available for the first time in streaming format, their programs are filled with interviews of key personalities across disciplines; theater, music and dance performances; documentaries on rituals and cultural practices; political events and much more.

    A database containing publications from the Church Missionary Society. The rich and diverse publications of the Church Missionary Society (CMS) shed light on key events in global history since the beginning of the 19th century. With active mission stations in every continent, the published journals, letters and reports represent a global perspective on not only evangelism and mission history but conflict, colonialism and globalization. Modules include: Global Missions and Contemporary Encounters, 18004-2009, and: Medical Journals, Asian Missions and the Historical Record, 1816-1986.

    Online collection of the works of Karl Barth, one of the twentieth century's most influential theologians. The collection features the entire corpus of Barth's Gesamtausgabe. Published under the TVZ imprint, this definitive edition of Barth's works in German currently comprises more than 40 volumes of sermons, letters, lectures, conversations, and academic writings. Also slated for inclusion in The Digital Karl Barth Library is Barth's magnum opus, the 14-volume Kirchliche Dogmatik.

  • Religion and Philosophy Collection (Gale OneFile: Religion and Philosophy)  Infomation details about the resource 

    Religion & Philosophy Collection features a selection of more than 200 magazines and academic journals covering religion and the related areas of philosophy and anthropology. Researchers can use this database not only to study theological approaches to social issues, but also to learn about the impact that religion has had on culture throughout history, including literature, arts, and language. Coverage, which includes more than 1.1 million articles updated daily, begins as early as 1980 for indexing and 1983 for periodical full text.

    Religious Magazine Archive offers digital access to the archival runs of 18 major consumer periodicals in the field of religion, spanning the 19th-21st centuries. Each title has a deep backfile of several decades, with the earliest content dating from 1845. These titles, aimed at a popular readership rather than cultural or academic elites, provide a unique insight into the way religious movements engaged with their followers and with wider society. Users can ascertain the responses of religious groups to the contemporary issues, trends, and events during this period, not only in religious life, but also in wider society, politics, and international affairs. The magazines span a wide variety of religions and denominations, allowing for comparative studies of the responses of each to specific events and issues.
