  • Caribbean Studies in Video: The Banyan Archive  Infomation details about the resource 

    Caribbean Studies in Video presents more than 1,000 hours of edited and unedited footage from the Banyan Production company, the first Caribbean enterprise to produce original TV content in the 1970s. Available for the first time in streaming format, their programs are filled with interviews of key personalities across disciplines; theater, music and dance performances; documentaries on rituals and cultural practices; political events and much more.

  • Eighteenth Century Drama: Censorship, Society and the Stage  Infomation details about the resource 

    Eighteenth Century Drama features the John Larpent Collection from the Huntington Library – a unique archive of almost every play submitted for license between 1737 and 1824. There are over 2500 plays which make up the majority of the collection. Also included are the diaries of Larpent’s wife and professional collaborator Anna, recording her criticisms of plays, as well as insights into theatrical culture and English society. Hundreds of further documents include playbills, theatre records, correspondence, theatrical addresses, artwork, biographical documents, diaries, epilogues, financial and legal documents, miscellany, objects, playbills, prologues, scrapbooks, songs, illustrations, portraits, and posters.

    medici.tv’s library features over 1,800 programs (3,000 original works), including: concerts and archived historical concerts; operas; ballets; documentaries, artist portraits and educational programs; and master classes.

    Collection of reference works, encyclopedias, images, flyers, playbills, postcards, scrapbooks, and other resources relating to the history of theater. Includes O’Dell’s Annals of the New York Stage, the Oxford University Press Companion series, and Greenwood’s American Theatre Companies series. On the Alexander Street platform.

  • Theatre In Video: Volume 2  Infomation details about the resource 

    Theatre in Video: Volume II brings together classic and contemporary plays and documentaries. The collection has a greater focus on contemporary and international productions. Users can view the works of widely studied playwrights and theatre artists from around the globe, including many new performances from Shakespeare's Globe Theatre collection (Opus Arte), Theatre Arts Films, the BBC, and TMW Media Group.

  • Victorian Popular Culture  Infomation details about the resource 

    Historic full-text archive that reproduces British and American works. Modules include: Spiritualism, Sensation and Magic; Circuses, Sideshows and Freaks; Music Hall, Theatre and Popular Entertainment; and Moving Pictures, Optical Entertainments and the Advent of Cinema. On the Adam Matthew platform.

  • Women's Wear Daily  Infomation details about the resource 

    The Women's Wear Daily Archive allows users to explore trends and influences on the fashion and beauty industry through the years. It contains the full run of past print issues and supplements and will be updated biannually with more recent issues.
