More organizations are moving towards an understanding that employees are a resource that can be developed into a distinct competitive advantage to ensure organizational success, sustainability, and reputation. Students majoring in Management of Human Resources will be prepared to create policies and practices for effective recruitment, socialization, training, development, compensation, performance management, career planning, and employer relations. Students in this major will be prepared to work in a variety of human resource capacities and in other key positions related to employee management, and will understand principles for facilitating others success.
All courses for the major require a minimum grade of C (not C-).
