The state's Enhanced Oil Recovery Commission will meet via an Internet conference at 9 a.m. Monday, June 7.
Members of the public wishing to participate should call Julie Hamilton, commission staff assistant, at (307) 766-2791 or e-mail julieh@uwyo.edu.
David Mohrbacher, the new director of the University of Wyoming's Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute, has requested a special meeting with the commission members to gain their insight and guidance in strategic planning for the 2011-12 biennium. Mohrbacher has more than 30 years of experience in providing petroleum, chemical and program management to industry-leading corporations.
The EOR Commission is funded by the state of Wyoming to support the EORI. In addition to its aggressive research agenda, EORI engages in cooperative and contractual agreements with independent producers, and offers short courses, workshops and technical outreach meetings to assist in the transfer of current EOR technologies to Wyoming producers.
