Several newspapers in Wyoming and surrounding states are encouraging the University of Wyoming to provide them with photos of students and others who are participating in summer camps, institutes, workshops and other activities at UW.
This is an excellent way to promote your program and unit to a wide audience. If given advance notice, preferably at least 10 days prior to the event, UW Institutional Communications will schedule professional photographers to take these photos, which would be available for use on websites, and for internal publications and other uses.
UW reminds everyone to provide the UW Model Release to all participants prior to or at the start of any event or program. If persons photographed are under the age of 18, legal guardians older than 18 must complete and sign this form for their minor.
