The University of Wyoming’s Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources has undergone several changes in recent months.
The school’s updated Web address is www.uwyo.edu/haub. Bookmarks or links will need to be updated. More information is available on the site’s About Us section.
Most significantly, it has evolved from a program into a school, and has changed its name from the Environment and Natural Resources Program to the Haub School, home to academic programs and institutes.
“As our structure evolves, our work to advance the understanding and resolution of complex environment and natural resource challenges continues full force through education, outreach, dissemination of information and collaborative efforts,” says Emilene Ostlind, the school’s communications coordinator. “The new Biodiversity Institute brings together researchers, students and the public to develop understanding of the physical, biological and human forces that impact biological diversity.”
The Ruckelshaus Institute publishes reports and conference proceedings to support natural resource decision makers in Wyoming. It also offers professional trainings and support services for stakeholder-driven solutions to natural resource challenges.
