UW Trustees Set Agenda for March 23

Discussion on the university budget, campus construction, the presidential transition and a host of other issues is scheduled for the University of Wyoming Board of Trustees during its regular meeting Wednesday and Thursday, March 23-24.

Trustees also are expected to select firms to help implement a new fiscal system, and to install new video and audio systems in War Memorial Stadium and the UniWyo Sports Complex.

The regular meeting of the full Board of Trustees is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday with a working breakfast in the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center. However, the board has scheduled a working dinner with incoming President Laurie Nichols at 6 p.m. Tuesday, also in the Gateway Center.

Public testimony is scheduled at 11 a.m. Thursday. The meeting of the full board, all of which takes place in the Gateway Center, is open to the public except for executive sessions. The business meeting, in which trustees take formal action on agenda items, is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday.
