Internationally recognized multimedia artist Phil Hansen will speak Monday, April 18, at 7 p.m. in Room 111 of the University of Wyoming Visual Arts Building.
Hansen has created artwork for televised events such as the Grammy Awards and for major companies, including Disney and Skype. He says he looks for new approaches to art by combining traditional visual art with unconventional art techniques. He is most widely known for his live art performances, in which he invites the audience members to participate.
As a speaker, Hansen says his goal is to help people transform their limitations into opportunities. His inspiring message has been shared with a variety of companies and industry organizations, including the TED Talks.
Visual and Cultural Arts sponsors the free lecture. For more information about Hansen, visit www.philinthecircle.com.
