UW English Students to Present Undergraduate Work April 22

University of Wyoming Department of English undergraduates will present their work during an “English Matters” symposium Friday, April 22, in the Wyoming Union.

Eighteen students will present their work in poster displays, digital formats and also give oral presentations.

“The students have done good work, and the entire symposium is meant to showcase the English department,” says Peter Parolin, UW Department of English chair.

Poster displays and digital presentations begin at 11 a.m. in the skylight lounge, located in the lower level of the Wyoming Union. Student presenters will discuss their work and also answer questions.

Poster presentation students are: Logan Aray, Sabrina Burnette and Jessica Erickson, all of Laramie; Phil Daniels, of Brighton, Colo.; Geoff Hiatt, of Sinclair; Brianna O’Shea, of Aurora, Colo.; Taylar Stagner, from Riverton; and Melanie Wilson, LaMirada, Calif.

Digital presenters are: Haley Biswell, from Wellington, New Zealand; Lindsay Davis and Jessica Erickson, both of Laramie; and Chelsea Hampton, of Powell.

Making oral presentations in the Wyoming Union East Ballroom are: Brianna Casey and Wendy McGee, both from Casper; Roslyn Fleming, of Ringoes, N.J.; Robert Kemper, of Anchorage, Alaska; Sage Weber, from Laramie; and Christian Weed, of Cheyenne.
