A magician, crafts, a film and carnival games are among activities scheduled during the University of Wyoming’s end-of-semester “Pokes’ Carnival: UW Floats 2” Friday, Dec. 6.
The event will start at 8 p.m. in the Wyoming Union, and is free and open to the public.
Magician Daniel Martin’s performance will begin at 9 p.m. Among activities scheduled are a craft station, a create your own stuffed animal event, carnival games, cookie decorating and the screening of “It: Chapter Two.” The R-rated film will begin at 8 p.m. Popcorn, cotton candy and other food will be provided.
A limited number of tickets for the stuffed animal event are available to UW students and can be picked up at the Wyoming Union information desk.
The 7220 Entertainment Late-Night Events Committee and the Films Committee are co-hosting the carnival. The Late-Night Events Committee meets Wednesdays at 4 p.m., and the Films Committee meets Thursdays at 4 p.m. in Room 012 in the Wyoming Union.
