Kaleb Paul Skog Memorial Philosophy Fund

Kaleb Skog attended UW as a double major in Philosophy and French. He graduated in May, 2010 Summa Cum Laude and was recognized as an A&S Top Twenty Graduate.

After Kaleb’s death in April of 2013, his family, led by his parents Paul and Jacque Skog, established the Kaleb Paul Skog Memorial Scholarship in his honor. The Kaleb Paul Skog Memorial Scholarship began in 2014 and awards $1000.00 each year to a philosophy major who has at least a 3.5 GPA and who embodies Kaleb’s love of the discipline.

The department and students thank the Skogs for the kind and generous support.

Jasper Hunt; a double major in Philosophy and Psychology with minors in disability studies and honors, graduating Spring 2019, plans to attend graduate school for cognitive neuroscience.

Carter Henman; philosophy major with minors in disability studies and honors, graduating Spring 2018, plans to attend law school with a focus on disability civil rights advocacy.

Sage Weber; scheduled to graduate December 2016, with plans to attend graduate school with a focus on philosophy in elementary education.

Fall 2015

Luis Guerrero-Barrera; Philosophy major, graduating Fall 2015, Summa Cum Laude and one of the A&S Top Twenty Outstanding Graduates. He is currently a graduate student in Philosophy at UW.
