Medical Excuses Policy

University of Wyoming Student Health Service

The University of Wyoming Student Health Service has a policy to not provide medical excuses for missed classes.  We recommend students promptly contact their professors and instructors when they anticipate time out of class due to a medical concern.  This policy promotes appropriate discussion between a student and faculty, and is consistent with our commitment to encourage proper use of health care resources and maintain patient confidentiality.
