Students will seek to engage with their communities through on and off-campus volunteerism, leaderships and SERVICE. Students are working to make a different in the civic life of our communities and developing the combination of knowledge, skills, values, and motivation to make that difference.

Level 1: Learn More: Attend the Volunteer Fair
Level 2: Get Involved: Participate in the Big Event
Level 3: Be Committed: Participate in an Alternative Spring Break
Level 4: Be a Leader: Lead an Alternative Spring Break
Level 5: Demonstrate Expertise (Optional): Intern in a nonprofit or volunteer service based organization
Students will open their world to people of different cultures through global and local opportunities. Students are appreciating and respecting diverse people, places and world.

Level 2: Get Involved: Meet with an Ed Abroad Advisor
Level 3: Be Committed: Do a study abroad
Level 4: Be a Leader: Enroll in a returnee workshop

Students will accelerate their professional experience through internships, work study, student employment and career skills ACQUISITION. Students are attaining necessary skills to enter and become part of a strong, productive work force.

Level 3: Be Committed: Participate in a job shadow opportunity
Level 4: Be a Leader: Complete a professional internship, student teaching or practicum

Students will reach for greater knowledge and understanding through creative activity and faculty-led undergraduate RESEARCH. Students are designing, applying and disseminating research.

Level 3: Be Committed: Prepare, propose and gain approval for research project
Level 4: Be a Leader: Conduct research or creative activity

Students will articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively in written, oral and digital forms.
