UW Students Fall Leadership Series Begins Tuesday

October 8, 2009

The fall Leadership Series for University of Wyoming students begins Tuesday, Oct. 13, and will continue each week.

Workshops are held in the Wyoming Union each Tuesday from 4-5:30 p.m.

The goal is to introduce UW students in what being a leader is about and how it fits in their future goals. The series will focus on developing leadership skills; connecting with other leaders on campus; and getting to know UW faculty members and administrators.

Among discussions this fall are becoming a leader, group and personal management, political action, mobilization and the final topic "at the end of the day."

Student Leadership and Civic Engagement (SLCE) sponsors the fall series.

For more information, contact Rachael Sherman in the SLCE office at 766-2889 or e-mail
rsherma3@uwyo.edu.

Interested students should RSVP or stop by the SLCE office in Room 011 of the Wyoming Union.
