This is among the works in Conor Hollis and Amorette Lana's exhibition "Idea Matter," which is on display through Dec. 15 at Gallery 211 in Laramie.

A collaborative exhibition by Denver artists Conor Hollis and Amorette Lana can be seen through Dec.15 at the University of Wyoming's Gallery 211, located at 211 S. 1st St. in Laramie.

Gallery 211 is open from noon-4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Admission is free.

The exhibition, "Idea Matter," includes a series of drawings and sculptures that explore the physical evolution of art itself. The work is a visual manifestation of how an idea physically materializes over multiple generations of imagery.

Hollis and Lana have exhibited nationally and internationally and have work included in both private and public collections. They own and operate a custom design and fabrication company called Silo Workshop that specializes in public art. They have completed multiple public art fabrication and restoration projects throughout the West.
