Panelists to Discuss WyoCast Lecture Capture

December 6, 2010

Questions about the University of Wyoming's WyoCast Lecture Capture capabilities will be answered during a panel discussion at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources auditorium.

Wyocast is a classroom technology  that captures sound, video and computer and wraps them all in a package that can be viewed live (real-time) or later (on demand) using a simple Internet connection. Panelists will explain how to schedule courses using Wyocast-equipped classrooms.

Participants can learn from the experiences of faculty members who have used the technology and time will be provided for questions.  Panelists will answer questions such as where Wyocast Lecture Capture can be installed, how it can be used and what faculty and students are saying about it.

For more information, call Andrew Bryson at the Ellbogen Center for Teaching and Learning, 766-2035.
