The University of Wyoming received its highest average grade since 1984 in a biennial statewide survey conducted by the university's Political Science Department.
In its Statewide Election Survey, conducted before the November general elections, the University's Survey and Analysis Center asked more than 700 Wyoming residents to grade UW. This year, 35 percent believed UW should have a grade of A and 43 percent a grade of B.
Only two percent graded UW with a D or F. Overall, the university's grade-point average was 3.24, the highest mark in 26 years. In 2008, UW graded at 3.20 and, in 2006, 3.17.
Only one in 10 respondents indicated they did not have sufficient information to rate the university, a number lower than at any point since 1984.
