University of Wyoming students have an opportunity to attend the Tony Award-winning musical "Les Miserables" Thursday, Sept. 8, at the Buell Theater in Denver, Colo.
Limited tickets are available to students for $15 at the Wyoming Union information desk. The price includes transportation to and from Denver, show ticket and time to explore the downtown Denver area before the show. The show starts at 8 p.m. and the bus will leave the Union parking lot at 3 p.m.
Based on Victor Hugo's 1862 novel of the same name, "Les Miserables" is a musical set in the 1800s during the French Revolution. The plot focuses on the characters' struggle for redemption and revolution. Since opening 25 years ago, "Les Miserables" has been seen by more than 55 million people worldwide and has won more than 70 major theatre awards.
