Wyoming Union Restroom Renovation (Scheduled completion mid-December) -- Contractor vehicles and equipment will be parked around the perimeter of the south wing. Proceed with caution around these areas. Toilet partitions will arrive and be installed next week for second floor restrooms. Wall painting and repair is in progress in first floor restroom and lobby.

Receipt of furniture and installation will start early in the week and continue through the winter break. Moving of equipment from existing visual art studios will begin as space is available. Watch for minor work outside the construction area. The construction fencing has been removed to complete the perimeter site work. Construction is not complete and the site is still managed by the contractor. Be aware that there will be construction traffic and activities throughout the site. Foot and vehicular traffic will not be permitted across the site. Touch up of interior spaces, painting, ceilings and floors is ongoing. Installation and testing of mechanical/electrical systems is ongoing throughout.

Parking will be limited in areas around construction, including the drive along the west side of Engineering. The access from main campus along the west side of Engineering to Lewis Street will be closed during this phase of construction. The west end of the ramp behind the College of Engineering will be closed. Handicapped parking has been relocated to the northwest corner of Lewis and 10th streets with access through the Berry Center or Earth Sciences to main campus. Minor concrete work and second floor slab pour will continue throughout the week. There will be work on underground utilities throughout the site as foundation and steel erection allows. Backfill at foundations will continue as foundation work allows. The erector's crane is on site and steel erection is under way. There will be construction traffic for delivery of materials and structural steel throughout the week. Expect congestion from delivery of steel and concrete. Take extreme care when walking around trucks waiting in the street.
