January 30, 2012

Wyoming's Enhanced Oil Recovery Commission will meet from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the Cambria Suites at Denver International Airport. The meeting is open to the public.

The agenda will include an open discussion, a director's overview of Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute activities, old business, including the FY12 budget, and the Joint Appropriations Committee Jan. 18 budget hearing. New business to be discussed is the EORC chair position, staffing, the outreach program and status of current projects.

For more information, call Kathy Olson, EORI office manager, at (307) 766-2791 or email KAOlson@uwyo.edu.

The Enhanced Oil Recovery Commission is funded by the state of Wyoming to support the EORI at the University of Wyoming. In addition to its aggressive research agenda, EORI engages in cooperative and contractual agreements with independent producers, and offers short courses, workshops and technical outreach meetings to assist in the transfer of current EOR technologies to Wyoming producers.
