University of Wyoming Calendar for March 5

These are among activities scheduled March 5-9 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, March 5, 4-5 p.m. and Tuesday, March 6, 8:30-11:30 a.m. -- Public viewing of student projects at the Wyoming State Science Fair, Wyoming Union Ballroom and Family Room. Free.

Monday, March 5, 5 p.m. -- Ioannis Vrailas, deputy head of the European Union Delegation to the United Nations, will present Crisis in the Eurozone: Problems and Prospects, Wyoming Union Ballroom Room 302. Free.

Monday, March 5, 7:30 p.m. -- The Verismo Trio, Fine Arts concert hall. $7.50 for the public, $5.50 for seniors and students.

Wednesday, March 7, 7 p.m. -- Acclaimed author John D'Agata, eminent writer in residence at the University of Wyoming, will read from his latest book, "The Lifespan of a Fact," at Second Story Book, 105 Ivinson Ave. He will sign books following the talk.

Wednesday, March 7, 8 p.m. -- YouTube comedians Barats and Bereta, Wyoming Union Ballroom. Free.

Friday, March 9, 7:30 p.m. -- Singing Statesmen, Bel Canto and Happy Jacks, Fine Arts concert hall. Free.
