Open Forums with Director of Admissions Candidates at UW

Open forums are scheduled to begin this week with four candidates for the position of director of admissions at the University of Wyoming.

Each candidate will speak on the topic "The Role of Social Media in Attracting Prospective Students." The meetings are open to all interested persons.

The schedule:

Thursday, April 12, 3 p.m., Room 105 of the Classroom Building -- Tim Albers, associate vice president for enrollment management and director of admissions at Western State College, Gunnison, Colo. He previously served in admissions positions at Ottawa University in Kansas and at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo.

Tuesday, April 17, 9 a.m., Room 506 of Coe Library -- Jacqueline Nottingham, director of data management for the Graduate School at Virginia Tech. She has previously held positions there as director of admissions and academic progress, director of annual giving and special gifts, and associate director of undergraduate admissions.

Thursday, April 19, 9 a.m., Room 506 of Coe Library -- Erick Larson, director of graduate admissions at the University of Idaho. He has previously held admissions, career advising and university relations positions at the University of Idaho and in private industry.

Thursday, April 26, 9 a.m., Room 506 of Coe Library -- Matt Kroeger, senior associate director of admissions for communications and marketing at the University of Iowa. He previously held admissions positions at Iowa, Northern Arizona University, Morningside College (Sioux City, Iowa) and the University of Northern Iowa.
