UW Sustainability Discussion Series Continues Wednesday

The discussion series to raise awareness and community interest in sustainable practices continues Wednesday, April 18. The session is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

"Laramie's Waste: Where Does It Go?" is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union Senate Chambers. It will include panelists from the city of Laramie, UW ACRES Student Farm, ARK Regional Services and the UW Recycling Program. A question-and-answer session follows, with the session ending by 5 p.m.

Wednesday's program is the final in the 2012 Sustainability Discussion Series, which is sponsored by the UW Campus Sustainability Committee (CSC). Speakers covered topics such as sustainable foods, energy efficiency and waste management.
