University of Wyoming Police Chief Mike Samp has a message for people traveling near the UW Anthropology Building Friday morning: Don't be alarmed -- it's not real.
Participants in a forensic anthropology class that is part of the UW Upward Bound program plan to stage a mock crime scene at 8 a.m. Friday around the building at 12th and Lewis streets.
UWPD officers are assisting with the exercise, which is intended to give students a realistic, hands-on experience in securing and processing a crime scene. The activity is expected to take much of Friday morning.
