Gov. Matt Mead has reappointed Janelle Fletcher-Kilmer to a second term on the Wyoming Arts Council.

Currently the director of Fine Arts Outreach and coordinator for Cultural Programs at the University of Wyoming, Fletcher-Kilmer serves on the Art Council’s Executive Committee.

Now in her 14th performance season at UW, Fletcher-Kilmer actively engages performing artists of international and national distinction, negotiates and executes contracts, organizes and hosts in-reach programs, and organizes state and regional tours of productions, among other duties.

She holds a bachelor of arts in humanities/fine arts and a master of public administration degree from UW, and serves on the executive planning committee for the UW Performing Arts Facility renovation/remodel effort.

Headquartered in Cheyenne, the Wyoming Arts Council works to enhance the quality of life for the people of Wyoming by providing resources to sustain, promote and cultivate the arts.
