UW Board of Trustees Sets September Agenda

The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees will conduct its September meeting beginning Thursday, Sept. 6, in Room 506 of Coe Library.

The business meeting, in which trustees take formal action on agenda items, is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, also in Room 506 of Coe Library. All meetings are open to the public except for executive sessions. Public testimony will be accepted during Friday’s business meeting.

Thursday, Sept. 6

Coe Library, Room 506

9-9:30 a.m. -- Meet with Greater Western Library Alliance representatives.

9:30-10 a.m. -- Update on Governor’s Energy, Engineering, STEM Integration Task Force.

10:15-10:45 a.m. -- Athletics update.

10:45-11:45 a.m. -- Safety and security update.

Noon-1:15 p.m. -- Executive session and working lunch.

1:15:1:30 p.m. -- Introductions and recognitions.

1:30-2 p.m. -- Construction contracts discussion.

2-2:45 p.m. -- Board of Trustees July retreat follow-up discussion.

3-4:45 p.m. -- Fall Convocation, Wyoming Union Ballroom.

Friday, Sept. 7

8-9 a.m. -- Breakfast for board.

9:15-9:45 a.m. -- University Plan 4 discussion.

10-11 a.m. -- Business meeting

          Reports from ASUW, Staff Senate, Faculty Senate

          Public testimony

Old business -- follow-up on charge to Faculty Senate and ASUW regarding plus/minus grading system.

Following the meeting, the board is scheduled to travel to Cheyenne to tour the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center.
