The University of Wyoming’s Delta Delta Delta sorority will host a pancake breakfast from 6 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, to 6 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at the Tri Delta house, 1616 Sorority Row.

Pancake breakfast tickets will cost $5 per person with all proceeds benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Last year, the UW Tri Delta chapter raised more than $20,000. Now, it hopes to raise $25,000 for the hospital, contributing to the national Tri Delta goal to raise $15 million in five years.

“I have a love for children, so, when I found out that this was going to be my job for the 2012 calendar year, I was incredibly honored,” says Tri Delta Philanthropy Chair Alison Cetak of Casper. “I believe there is not a better philanthropy out there, because helping children is such an extraordinarily rewarding task.”

Collectively, Tri Delta already has raised $4.1 million of its $15 million goal. Since its partnership in 1999, Tri Delta has raised $16.7 million for St. Jude and has funded the hospital’s Teen Room and named a patient care floor in the Chili's Care Center.
