Pledges are being accepted for Walk a Mile in Her Shoes: The International Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault and Gender Violence, sponsored by Fraternity/Sorority Life at the University of Wyoming.
The event begins Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 4 p.m. at the Wyoming Union Gardens before moving to Prexy's Pasture.
All men and women can participate. Participants are asked to raise funding, with all proceeds going to the Albany County SAFE Project. Men and women also are asked to walk the mile in women's high heels as a symbolic showing of not tolerating rape, sexual assault or gender violence.
