UW Board of Trustees Plans Special Meeting

October 30, 2012

The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees has scheduled a special meeting Thursday, Nov. 1, to discuss the job profile for UW’s president.

The meeting will take place from 9-11:30 a.m. in the Old Main board room. It is open to the public.

Trustees will confer with Betty Asher, a representative of Greenwood/Asher and Associates, the consulting firm assisting UW in finding a successor to Tom Buchanan, who’s retiring as president in 2013.

Asher also is meeting with members of the public and the campus community this week regarding the presidential search process.

Greenwood/Asher and Associates has conducted successful presidential searches for institutions including the University of Florida, the University of Texas, Ohio State University, New Mexico State University and West Virginia University.
