These are among the activities scheduled Dec. 3-Dec. 9 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, Dec. 3, 7:30 p.m. -- The music department presents the Jazz Ensemble III concert, Fine Arts concert hall. Free.

Tuesday, Dec. 4, 6 p.m. -- An opening reception for the art exhibition “2012 Summer in Turkey”; the exhibition can be seen through Friday, Dec. 14, in Wyoming Union Gallery 234. Free.

Tuesday, Dec. 4-Saturday, Dec. 8, 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 9, 2 p.m. -- “From the Ashes: A Cinderella Ballet”  showcases a retelling of the classic fairy tale, Fine Arts main stage. Tickets cost $14 for the public, $11 for seniors and $7 for students.

Wednesday, Dec. 5, 7:30 p.m. -- The music department presents the Brass Ensemble concert, Fine Arts concert hall. Free.

Thursday, Dec. 6, 3:30 p.m. -- Fall commencement graduation celebration for multicultural students, Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom. Free.

Friday, Dec. 7, 3 p.m. -- Fall commencement ceremonies for the School of Energy Resources, UW Conference Center at the Hilton Garden Inn, Salon F. Free.

Friday, Dec. 7, 4 p.m. -- Fall commencement ceremonies for the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Arts and Sciences auditorium. Free.

Friday, Dec. 7, 7 p.m. -- The UW women’s a cappella group the Bettys performs a holiday concert, College of Education auditorium. Free.

Saturday, Dec. 8, 10 a.m. -- Fall commencement ceremonies for the College of Business, Arts and Sciences auditorium. Free.

Saturday, Dec. 8, 10 a.m. -- Fall commencement ceremonies for the College of Health Sciences, Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom. Free.

Saturday, Dec. 8, 1:30 p.m. -- Fall commencement ceremonies for the College of Engineering and Applied Science, Arts and Sciences auditorium. Free.

Saturday, Dec. 8, 2 p.m. -- Cowboy basketball vs. Oklahoma Panhandle State, Arena-Auditorium. Tickets cost $18 for the public and $10 for children 18 or younger.

Sunday, Dec. 9, 3 p.m. -- The music department presents its “Holiday Gala” concert, Fine Arts concert hall. Tickets cost $10 for the public, $7 for seniors and $6 for students.
