The final day to visit the works on view in the “38th Annual Juried University of Wyoming Student Exhibition” is Saturday, March 2.

All UW students were allowed to submit artwork to the exhibition that includes sculpture, graphic design, drawing, painting and printmaking. Michael Chavez, public arts program manager with Denver’s Arts and Venues, adjudicated this year’s exhibition.

A selection of the works will be moved into the Centennial Complex Gallery, located just inside the building’s front entrance. The UW Art Museum's education team uses the student work during Spring Break Art Camp, scheduled during the week of March 18 for students ages 6 through 10.

“Using the artwork made by UW students is a great way for young artists to learn about different techniques and materials, and to gain inspiration,” says Rachel Miller, assistant curator.
