Marie Curie Portrayed in Womens History Month Program Tuesday

Susan Marie Frontczak portrays Marie Curie.

Actress Susan Marie Frontczak will perform “Manya, The Living History of Marie Curie” Tuesday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the University of Wyoming College of Education auditorium. There is a suggested $5 donation. The event is open to the public. 

“Manya” is a Women’s History Month program to honor women in science.

Marie Curie is known for her discovery of two elements, polonium and radium; and her pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the only woman to win the award in two different fields -- physics and chemistry.
