Laramie’s Naughty Pines Derby Dames will host a roller derby event at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at the Laramie Plains Civic Center south gymnasium.
The team and the University of Wyoming Student Activities Council sponsor the entertainment. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the event is free and open to the public.
The Naughty Pines Derby Dames focus on the empowerment of women through roller derby competitions, sportsmanship and community involvement.
“Not only do the women provide family friendly entertainment to the community, but (they) also lend support to various local charities and nonprofit organizations,” says Elizabeth Gibbons, Campus Activities Center marketing coordinator.
