University Disability Support Services (UDSS) will host a variety of Disability Awareness activities this week at the University of Wyoming.
Individuals can play disability “Jeopardy” and test their knowledge of disability facts at an information table Thursday, April 4, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Wyoming Union breezeway. General disability information and some disability simulators also will be available.
An online Disability Awareness Quiz can be taken all week on the UDSS website. A gift certificate to the Rolling Mill Cafe in the Wyoming Union will be awarded to one person who completes the survey.
Additionally, UDSS will award Extra Mile certificates of appreciation to UW faculty and staff nominated by UDSS students and staff for going the “extra mile” to assist students with disabilities.
