Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company at UW Friday

The renowned comedy improv group, the Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company, performs Friday, April 19, at 9 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union Ballroom.

Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company has launched careers of popular entertainers such as Amy Poehler, Matt Besser, Matt Walsh and Ian Roberts. The group emerged from Chicago’s ImprovOlympic in 1990 and started a TV show in 1998 on Comedy Central. The company's performances are interactive, so expect some audience participation!

Additionally, Quentin Tarantino’s Oscar-nominate movie “Django Unchained” will be shown at 6:30, 9 and 11:30 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Family Room. The fast-paced movie stars Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio. Additionally, there will be a panel discussion hosted by the Association of Black Student Leaders from 5-6 p.m. in the Family Room preceding the movie.
