Thursday, May 23, 2 p.m. -- UW Emeritus Professor Pete Simpson interviews Loretta Ford, co-founder of the national nurse practitioner movement, to commemorate the School of Nursing’s first Doctor of Nursing Practice class, College of Business Scarlett Auditorium. Free.
Thursday, May 23, 6-8 p.m. -- Open house on local forests’ responses to the bark beetle epidemic, Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center auditorium. Free.
The UW Art Museum, located in the Centennial Complex at 2111 Willett drive, is open Mondays through Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free.
The UW Geological Museum is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. weekends. Free.
