Bus Ride from Laramie Offered For UW Vertical Dance at Vedauwoo

August 7, 2013

A bus ride from Laramie will be offered for the University of Wyoming’s “Vertical Dance at Vedauwoo” production at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24.

The bus will leave at 8:35 a.m. from the Premier Bone and Joint parking lot, 1909 Vista Drive. Bus capacity is limited and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Bus passes cost $3 per person and must be purchased by Aug. 14, from the UW Performing Arts box office, along with tickets for the 10 a.m. performance.

Patrons can purchase tickets and bus passes by calling (307) 766-6666 or by visiting the UW Performing Arts box office weekdays from 10 a.m-4 p.m.

The bus from Laramie is available only for the 10 a.m. performance Aug. 24. It will not be offered for the 2 p.m. performance that day or the 11 a.m. performance Sunday, Aug. 25.

As in the past, busing will be available on site to shuttle patrons from the designated parking areas outside the fee area of the Vedauwoo Recreation Area to the venue site near the Box Canyon parking lot. This service is free. Patrons are advised to arrive early to accommodate parking and on-site busing; the last bus leaves for the venue site 15 minutes before the performance begins.

Busing is offered by special arrangement with Albany County School District 1, which provides the service for all “Vertical Dance at Vedauwoo” performances.
