These are among activities scheduled Aug. 5-11 at the University of Wyoming:

Wednesday, Aug. 7, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. -- Singer/songwriter Luke Bell will perform in the Summer Programs concert series on Simpson Plaza. Free.

Wednesday, Aug. 7, 5 p.m. -- UW dancers will perform a vertical dance demonstration in the Berry Center, with music by the faculty group Lights along the Shore. Free.

Wednesday, Aug. 7, 5:30 p.m. -- Global and Area Studies Professor Tom Seitz discusses “Nation Building: Lessons Learned, Lessons Lost” in the “What in the World” series at the branch library in Centennial. Free.

A variety of exhibitions is on display at the UW Art Museum, located in the Centennial Complex at 2111 Willett Drive, open Mondays through Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free.

The UW Geological Museum is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. weekends. Free.
