University of Wyoming Transit and Parking offers a new service that allows passengers to track its buses in real time.

The live bus tracker can be seen at uwyo.transloc.com, or a free smartphone application can be downloaded at uwyo.transloc.com/info/mobile. All of UW’s buses are equipped with this new GPS tracking system.

“This new live bus tracker system will provide students, faculty and staff the ability to better plan when they arrive at a particular bus stop,” says Paul Kunkel, Transit & Parking Services manager. “This service also improves our ability to communicate with riders during those times of the year when inclement weather impacts our buses and routes.”

Kunkel says more than 720,000 passengers annually ride the UWYO Roundup system, and “the live bus tracker system is a welcome addition to this already efficient transportation system.”
