The UW Police Department is looking for help in identifying the person shown in these photographs.

With the new semester underway and large numbers of people frequenting the Wyoming Union, the University of Wyoming Police Department warns that theft will not be tolerated and that violators will face consequences.

Surveillance cameras at the University Store and other locations on campus are one resource the UWPD has to combat shoplifting and other violations.

Cameras this week captured the image of a shoplifting suspect, and the UWPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual.

The department has released photographs of the person of interest, who entered the University Store and allegedly shoplifted items at about 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28.

If you recognize the person in the photographs, you are encouraged to call the UWPD at 766-5179, or you can text anonymously using the keyword “UWYO” to Tip411 (847411).
