The Association of College Unions International (ACUI) Region 13 conference will be held at the University of Wyoming Sept. 26-28.
This year’s Region 13 conference will feature schools from Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. According to its website, “ACUI is a nonprofit educational organization that brings together college union and student activities professionals from hundreds of schools in seven countries.”
The association’s mission is to build campus community through advocacy, education and the delivery of services.
Kim Zafft, the Wyoming Union associate director, says the conference features both union professionals and their student staff members.
“We are bringing more students with us this year than we ever have,” says Lane Honda, the operations coordinator for the Memorial Union at Arizona State University. “I know that the University of Wyoming has been working non-stop to make this conference memorable, exciting and relevant.”
