Monday, Sept. 23, 7:30 p.m. -- New Frontiers: The Laramie Contemporary Music Project features faculty and students performing works of visiting composer Doug Opel, Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. Free.

Tuesday, Sept. 24, 3-5 p.m. -- Department of History student colloquium, Room 24 of the College of Business Building. Free.

Tuesday, Sept. 24, 7-8 p.m. -- Kristina Arnold will give an artist talk, Visual Arts Building, Room 111. Free.

Tuesday, Sept. 24, 7:30 p.m. -- New Frontiers: The Laramie Contemporary Music Project: “By the Numbers” Sound Painting Ensemble workshop, UW Art Museum.

Wednesday, Sept. 25, 7:30 p.m. -- New Frontiers: Apprentice Concert, Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts concert hall. Free.

Thursday, Sept. 26, 4 p.m. -- Noted Arizona State University archeologist Vance Holliday presents the George C. Frison Institute of Archaeology lecture, “Hunting Gomphotheres at the End of the World,” College of Agriculture auditorium. Free.

Thursday, Sept. 26, 4:10-5:40 p.m. -- Cornell University Professor Harry Greene will speak about "Walkin' and Talkin' the Tree of Life: Why and How We Teach Biodiversity," Berry Center, Room 138. Free.

Thursday, Sept. 26, 7-9 p.m. -- Hiker and adventurer Jennifer Pharr Davis will share her experiences, Classroom Building, Room 215. Free.

Thursday, Sept. 26, 7:30 p.m. -- New Frontiers: UW large ensemble concert, Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. Free.

Thursday, Sept. 26, 8 p.m. -- Smallpools concert in the College of Education auditorium. Free.

Thursday, Sept. 26, 8-11 p.m. -- Cowboy Country Swing Club welcomes all level dances for swing dance tutorials in the Wyoming Union Ballroom. Free.
