Monday, Nov. 18, 4 p.m. -- A panel discussion of experts will discuss China’s political, economic and social trends, Classroom Building, Room 314. Free.
Monday, Nov. 18, at 5 p.m. -- Faculty showcase recital featuring Claudia Anderson, guest flutist, Buchanan Center for Performing Arts concert hall. Free.
Monday, Nov. 18, 7:30 p.m. -- Cowboy basketball vs. Jackson State, Arena-Auditorium. Tickets cost $18 for adults and $10 for children under 12.
Tuesday, Nov. 19, 3:10 p.m. -- Fall’s final history colloquium, College of Business, Room 24. Free.
Tuesday, Nov. 19, 4:10-5:40 p.m. -- Ambassador Marc Wall will speak about “Reflections on a Diplomatic Career,” College of Business auditorium. Free.
Tuesday, Nov. 19, 6 p.m. -- Hunger banquet in the Shoshone Room of Washakie Dining Center. The event is free, but spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tuesday, Nov. 19, 6:30 p.m. -- Visiting art talk featuring Kristen Martincic, Visual Arts Building, Room 111. Free.
Tuesday, Nov. 19-Saturday, Nov. 23, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 24, 2 p.m. -- “Carmina Burana,” a performance of live orchestral and choral music, dance and drama, Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts main stage. Tickets cost $16 for the public, $13 for senior citizens and $8 for students.
Wednesday, Nov. 20, 4 p.m. -- National Hunger and Homelessness Week documentary, “A Place at the Table,” Wyoming Union Family Room.
Wednesday, Nov. 20, 7:30 p.m. -- Concert Artist Guild winner Sybarite5 will perform in the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets cost $20 for the public, and $17 for senior citizens and students.
Thursday, Nov. 21, 1:10 p.m. -- UW composers will perform original works during the “Under Construction” concert, Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. Free.

Friday, Nov. 22, 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. -- Friday Night Fever will host a free movie night where “Free Birds” and “Thor: The Dark World” will show at 9 p.m. and “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” will show at 11:30 p.m., at the Fox Theater. Tickets will be available to students at 8 p.m. at the theater.
