A guest solo pianist continues the University of Wyoming Department of Music fall Faculty Recital Series at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, in the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts concert hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Adam Clark will perform works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Igor Stravinsky.

Clark is assistant professor of piano at Hope College in Holland, Mich. He has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and concerto soloist throughout the United States, as well as in Belgium, Italy and South Korea. His performances have been broadcast on WMUK in Michigan and also MBC National Television in Korea.

“Clark brought out much beauty in Chopin’s soulfully embroidered melodies,” said New York Concert Review Magazine. “He played with thoughtful expressiveness” and “achieved an excellent blend with the orchestra.”

The east parking lot of the Buchanan Center, as well as the east entrance to what was formerly known as the Fine Arts Building, is closed. Patrons may enter from the west -- off Fraternity Row or Willett Drive-- and park on the west, north or south side of the building.
