Alzheimers Disease Topic of Retirees Monthly Meeting

All University of Wyoming retirees and near-retirees are invited to attend the January meeting of the UW/State Retirees of Albany County Monday, Jan. 20, at 10 a.m. at the Eppson Center for Seniors, 1560 N. Third St.

Peg Bratton, a registered nurse and gerontological educator with the Great Plains Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, will discuss “Basics of Alzheimer’s Disease.” Time will be provided for questions and discussion.

The group meets at the Eppson Center the third Monday of each month during the academic year.

“These monthly programs provide a forum for good conversation, plus a healthy exchange of information, questions, answers and, perhaps, rebuttals,” says Lynn Durkee, vice president.
