A wide range of services to maintain the University of Wyoming will be discussed during the May meeting of the University of Wyoming/State Retirees of Albany County Monday, May 19.
The meeting will be held at the Eppson Center for Seniors, 1560 N. Third St. Mark Collins, UW associate vice president for administrative operations in the Division of Administration, will be the speaker. A former Laramie city manager, Collins oversees UW functions including Auxiliary Services, Central Scheduling, the Physical Plant, Environmental Health and Safety, the UW Police Department and other units.
All UW retirees and near-retirees are invited to attend. The retirees meet at the Eppson Center the third Monday of each month during the academic year. This will be the final meeting of the spring semester.
“These monthly programs provide a forum for good conversation, plus a healthy exchange of information, questions, answers and, perhaps, rebuttals,” says Lynn Durkee, president.
