Wednesday Meeting on Planned Closure of 15th Street

An informational meeting regarding a planned closure that will disrupt traffic on a portion of 15th Street is set for Wednesday, July 9, from 4-6 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union East Ballroom. Free parking will be available in the lot east of the union.

The intersection of 15th and Lewis streets will be closed from July 14-Aug. 24 to install a steam line across the intersection and west on Lewis Street. Lewis Street will be closed from 10th Street to 15th Street through Oct. 31.

North-bound traffic on 15th Street will be detoured around the intersection at Willett Drive, to 22nd Street and Harney Street. South-bound traffic will be detoured at Harney to Ninth Street. UW transit routes will be redirected during the course of construction.
